Baby Kurkinen's Surprise
Kindergarten surprises Mrs. K with a baby shower!

Jeffrey's Family Culture
Jeffrey answered all our questions about his rules and responsibilities. We discussed what the difference is between a rule, a responsibility and what happens when, like everyone, we fail to adhere to them.Some kids had some very interesting things to say about the consequences of breaking family rule. Jeff let one of his friends know that, "If you have fun in your room when your in trouble, it is not a consequence". Too true!

Hundreds collections
King and Queen of Hundreds Day! It pays off to work without distractions. Sasha and Lucas were the only ones to finish this hundreds hat project on the day of the celebration. Luckily, Mrs. K happened to have 1800 stickers on hand.

Lukas' family loves music, literature and traveling! After we heard him play we got to discuss the importance of practice and perseverance. Thank you for the wonderful lesson Lukas.
