We get to know our third grade reading buddies on Tuesdays. Our friends will be with us throughout the year.

A Meeting Well Earned

When we work hard to finish our work we may earn some time to get our class pet out. Our first meeting was earned when all members of our community learned how to be respectful when other friends where talking.

Know Thyself

As we listen an learn how to follow directions in kindergarten we also learn about ourselves. The self portrait is a complicated art project that has many steps. This creative outlet also is a great assessment for learning how to learn from one another in kindergarten.

We read together. We read alone.

There is time for reading and enjoying books together.

There is time to read silently on our own.
