Write Night

Coming to Kindergarten at night is a great way to enforce the love of learning! We celebrate literacy we our annual Write Night. Parents and children write to prompts such as persuasive essays describing the choice between Skittles or M&Ms or the characteristics of SUPER WORM the gummy hero.

The Patch

Nothing makes our learning come alive more then a trip off school grounds!
As we learn about where our food comes from, the life cycle of plants and the celebrations of harvest there seemed to be no better place then Plumpers Pumpkin Patch.

Silly face pictures are a Kurkinen tradition!

Thanks to all nine of our parents volunteers for making this trip possible!

Farm Facts

Kindergarten learns that crafts are part of our writing curriculum when they add a farm animal fact to their respective live stock.

The Power of Choice

Once in a great while...we play.

Here Comes the Sun

We are enjoying the sun while it lasts.
The better our gross motor abilities, the better our handwriting becomes!

The Fire Station

We listened.
We were safe.
We saw.
We heard the alarm and got out of there!

Coloring our World

We are making our classroom our own.
